Creating Characters/ Character Building Tag

Hello, dearies! It’s me again, this time with an idea for a tag. I got this idea for a post a few days back and later realised it’d be a fun activity if I could create a tag. Let’s get into it!

I have a friend who is a digital artist and from time to time, she draws for us different characters based on moods/preferences which we mostly use as our profile picture for a short period of time. She’s a wonderful artist. I’ve been meaning to try digital drawing since sometime now, and it’s not gonna happen anytime soon but I could surely create characters out of them. Besides, I also have another friend who draws traditionally and not only that, she creates and recites stories for her characters. These two were my inspiration to come up with: Character Building Tag

Rules:

  • Link back to the original post.
  • Use the featured image of the original post.(Optional)
  • Use “Character Building Tag” as a tag on WordPress.(Optional)
  • Select any 5 pictures of random characters. You can take them from Google, but make sure you credit the artists properly. Or you could doodle some sketches yourselves, be it traditional or digital.
  • Now write character sketches for each of the sample you’ve chosen!
  • Tag as many people as you would like AND keep one open nomination.
  • And lastly enjoy the process!

Name: Icy

This was the very first drawing that Orca made for me, and it stems from our love for the magical world of Harry Potter, thus the Ravenclaw robes, hehe πŸ˜‰ This is the cutest drawing she has made for me. Now about the character.

Icy is a 14 year old Hogwarts student, who is smart and creative. She is also naive but hey, isn’t teenage where you start to learn stuff? She has a very bad temper and can be self-centered when there’s competition. However, she is trying to figure it out and work on it. Her most-liked subject is Charms, with Defence Against the Dark Arts next in line. Although Potions is one subject she hates, mostly because she doesn’t like neither the atmosphere in the dungeons, nor the teacher that taught the subject. When she’s not having classes, she’s probably perched up in the library like Hermione or have a little fun exploring Hogwarts with the Marauder’s Map.

#2

Name: Vivienne (Pronounced as Vi-vi-ennn)

Vivienne is the kind, loyal friend we all want. She is eloquent though gentle in her manners. Often she is forthright in her opinions, but that, I do not think is a negative trait, because she speaks her mind, and so should we all. However, she is well the Jane Bennett here, for she doesn’t want to find faults in others, sometimes even going as far as condemning them. But it is this characteristic of hers that makes her a favourite among the people and therefore looked upon as the leader.

#3

Name: Vallari

Vallari is the eldest and wisest of my characters, who has an active imagination. She doesn’t speak much, and you’ll never know what’s on her mind until you ask her. She’s also skilful, but the downside of her character is that she’s upright lazy and has an unhealthy obsession with procrastinating. Her ability of being instropective alongwith her logical and open-minded consciousness makes her dependable and trustworthy. So even if she’s not a leader like Vivienne, she’s probably someone whom you could always run to for advice, or a little talk. Vallari loves pista icecream and indulges alot in reading. You bet she discusses books with Icy!

#4

Name: Venom

Unlike my previous characters who had essentially equal positive and negative traits, Venom is a character right like her name. She’s temperamental like Icy , but she refuses to even acknowledge the existence of it! She’s an absolute egomaniac! If the world isn’t revolving around her, it’s the WRONG WORLD, OKAY? You know it already, don’t you? She’s the rule-breaker with an extra dose of crazy within. Besides that, she enjoys sporting and being rowdy. You’ll probably find her where Vivienne is, trying to make Vivienne meddle with her, so that she can be the cool-beat-the-leader bitch!

This is not a drawing, but it was like ‘Build your own Aot character’ on some website I found. Aot (Attack on Titan) is an anime that I watched a long time back, and this could be a kind of memento, for how much I enjoyed watching this.

Name: Since I’m out of ideas, I’d love for you guys to name this character according to your imagination and let me know in the comments. If we get a good name among here, I’ll be glad to have that named my character. Until I don’t find a name, I’ll refer to her as ‘M’.

M is an innovative, and elegant character. She has a liking for her principles and practices them dutifully without fail. She can adapt quickly to her surroundings, but isn’t a good listener, because most of her energy is used in forming her thoughts. She’s the only character who’s totally unrelated to any of the other characters because she lives in a different universe. In the Aotverse, therefore she chose the Garrison regiment.

I tag:

That’s it for today! I’ll see you again in my next post, which is a kind of celebration for my blog on achieving a 100 followers! Yay! I don’t have any particular ideas right now for it, so let me know what would you like to see in that post. Until then, the extraterrestrial signing off….

And about that character… I don’t know, Genevieve? No wait she’s not a genevieve. Raya would suit her, I guess.
As for the post, there are about 100s of ideas. Truth or dare, questionnaire, … ok so maybe there are hundreds but I can only think of two. Best not to ask me.
