Trying my hands on a Six Word Story

Hello fellos! I’m back again from my monthly naps and this time, since I was bored and wanted to try something new, I tried writing in a new form of literature! I had seen blogs with six word stories all over my feed and got curious as to how it works, and being a beginner, it’s still abit hazy for me, but here’s a little piece I tried:

They married. Then the soldier martyred.

Let me know in the comments what you think of this! Also, have you ever tried writing six word stories? Do you enjoy them? If not, will you try writing one? Until the next time. Stay lovely as always!

  2. Idk what’s up with me today…
While reading instead of reading “Hi, I’m back again” I read “Hi, I’m black again”.
So that’s how I spent my first 10 mins while reading your latest blog.
Although I gotta say it’s really brilliant of you to keep experimenting on your blog. I am kinda bored of blogs which develop a stereotype or routine after the initial bursts of creative writing.
Keep it up and someday you’ll be famous and rich enough to return to your planet.

    1. Nothing’s wrong with you. I myself had written “Hi, I’m black again” initially so guess it’s even. Comments like yours surely motivate me to write a lot more! Thanks πŸ˜ƒ

  5. I don’t know that I could write a six word story. I tend to be too wordy! But I will be honest, yours carried quite the emotional punch. Nicely done! I will be thinking of this couple and the poor surviving partner all night now.

    1. Well it was my first time too! But I’m glad it appealed to you. And you can always try, I too never thought I was capable of writing a six word story. But now that I’ve done, it’s fun. You can get inspiration by searching some up on Google.

      1. No, not at all, not by a looooong chalk! It took me about twenty minutes to come up with that and, to my mind, it’s pathetically pathetic. I have too many words in me and so being brief runs contrary to all my heart.
But, yeah – thanks anyway. 😊
        You’re actually much better, though.

        1. Well from my point of view being the reader, I found it certainly great and invoked much curiosity so I say your twenty minutes weren’t a waste. As to my being better, it took me 24 hours to come up with this πŸ™‚

Uhm……maybe you could try something in nature, music, friendship/emotions, or even chocolates if you wanted something not so serious πŸ˜‚
